“But there was, she knew, something else. Happiness, she supposed. Whatever that might be. What, exactly, she wondered, was happiness. Very positively she wanted it.
Nella Larsen, Quicksand

As a follow up to my last check and in part due to the fact that I have five years to read all the books on this list, I figured I would go through with the 30 books to read before you turn 30. These books were borrowed from Time Magazine’s list here if you wanted to check out the article itself. So here goes!

And, almost embarrassingly, my score has turned out to be 1/30, which equates to about 3%. Ironically, I’ve only heard of three of these books, so I’d only been aware of about 10% of them prior to starting this list. I guess the fortunate thing is that I have time to read them so that I can check them all off when I actually am thirty! 😋

So, what are your thoughts? What’s your score? Do you agree with the books on this list? Disagree? Let me know! Feel free to tag me if you write a post for it yourself!
