everscapeI’m really beginning to think that there needs to be a database for the cover artists who create such amazing works for the books we all know and love since I can only rarely seem to find the names of the amazing artists who make them. I would really love to know who made this amazing cover for Orion Nebb’s Everscape: The Follymoths of Embra. I feel like it might have been the author, himself, who created this amazing cover, but it wasn’t explicitly stated on his website, so I can’t be completely sure. If anyone does know, feel free to leave it in the comments as I would love to be able to give the artist credit.

While reading about his debut novel, I was exceptionally thrilled to learn that Orion was inspired by the same author who defined my own childhood and inspired me, Christopher Paolini. I’ve not yet read this novel, but I’m thrilled to have it on my TBR, for anything featuring outer space is incredibly enticing to me.

As for the cover, I think what I love the most about it is its use of the colors. The characters really pop out against the white and light blue of the structure that appears in the background. I’m not sure what the butterfly on the main character’s face represents, but it’s the only piece of the cover that I’m not in love with. Everything else is pretty much phenomenal and I couldn’t imagine anyone making it look better. I would love to have a book like this one on my shelf.

What do you think of this cover? Do you love it? Hate it? Let me know in the comments!
