You guys, I have been screaming since yesterday. Not really, but definitely internally. The first author I ever really fell in love with, who genuinely was my first real inspiration to be a writer finished the last book in the series he’d written several years ago, back when I was a Freshman in college and he hasn’t really written since. At least, I’ve not seen him publish anything.

forkwitchworm_hc3d-cropped-729x1024Well, that’s changed this year and I have been over the moon about The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm by CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI! Not only is it just exciting to see that he’s writing again because I absolutely loved his stories and grew up reading them again and again, but he’s actually returning to the world of Eragon and giving us more of his story!

I don’t know about you, but I frankly think this is something to scream to everyone about and I was so excited to be able to share this news with you all! I only just found out yesterday, but I’ve already gone and pre-ordered it. I simply cannot help myself with his books, I suppose.

I’m exceedingly excited to have this book in my hands. It comes out on December 31st and you can be sure that I can’t wait to hold it. This world is basically my entire childhood and to find out that Christopher Paolini is not only writing again, but is writing within the world of Alagaësia with the characters I fell in love with when I was in fourth grade is amazing.

As always, happy reading you guys! I hope you’re as excited as I am!
