And I’m back with another YA releases post! I’m still in March, but steadily making my way through. I happened upon the reminder that Restore Me came out this month, and I must admit that I cringed hardcore. Abuse romanticizing books definitely aren’t for me and frankly I think we all need to become more aware of it so I have a habit of mentioning it every chance I get. It just kills me sometimes that people fall for this idiocy of shipping abusers with victims. I cry. Anyway, on a more positive note, here are the YA Releases on my TBR for this week!

35297394The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw is literally just on this list because of the hype. It’s got a bit of a Hocus Pocus feeling to it, having three sisters who were executed for being witches and now wreak their revenge upon the very town. But it seems like their executions weren’t because they were evil people doing evil things, but rather just because they were witches. I’ve seen this book around a lot and haven’t yet read it, but it sounds interesting enough and a lot of people seem to have it on their shelves.

HeroAtTheFall_JK.inddAnother book in a series that’s really only on there because I still want to read the whole thing is Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton. I keep meaning to read it, but I just never seem to get around to it. Fortunately, I know it’ll happen eventually. Which is wonderful because just look at that cover! Hopefully the book series is as fantastic as the cover on the final book, because I would love to have this one on my shelf sometime soon. And besides, the book does sound incredibly interesting, at least.

35425576The Final Six by Alexandra Monir sounds amazing! I’ve always been really in love with space and so any YA space adventure almost always immediately finds its way to my TBR. This one, about a group of kids who go through rigorous training to travel to Jupiter’s moon in order to save the rest of humanity from the damage we have wrought on the planet Earth, is just one of those that sou34499221nds far too exciting to pass up.

To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Cristo is such a fascinating sounding book. Between this one and Sea Witch, we’ve had some really amazing sounding little mermaid-esque retellings released this year. I haven’t read it yet, but this one is definitely high on by TBR. I keep meaning to buy this one, but I’m sure you all know the feeling of having to wait for books when you don’t quite have the money for them just yet. Hopefully this book will turn out as great as everyone has made it sound recently.

34921589Lies That Bind by Diana Rodriguez Wallach is actually a sequel that I didn’t know about the first book in the series when I decided that I wanted to read it. It just sounds really good, which ultimately led me to check out the initial book and add that one to my TBR as well. That cover is also quite exquisite, which I think pulls readers right into wanting to pick up this book. Besides, a good action filled runaway type story is always really exciting, right? And since this book is being compared to the Bourne Identity, I can’t help being quite curious about where it’s headed.

What do you think of the books on this list? Interested? Not so much? Let me know in the comments! Happy reading, everyone!
