I have a feeling that November is about to become the most successful month I’ve ever had for my blog. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I find myself checking my stats pretty regularly as I’ve been building Reader Fox to what it has become today. Views have become what I typically judge this blog’s success by and resultantly they are the stat data that allows me to determine where I’m at and what my next goals are going to be. And truthfully, this has always been somewhat about reaching a wider audience so that not only can I help readers to recognize deeply problematic and potentially mentally damaging material within the novels they might find themselves one day reading, but also so that those lesser known, yet utterly amazing books can have the ability to reach more readers who might truly love their stories.
And needless to say, I’m amazed, heart-warmed, thrilled, and exceedingly thankful to everyone who has brought this to a point where I can say that the success of this blog has grown so much. The irony and perfection of this happening during the month of Thanksgiving–even if the holiday is somewhat rooted in some potentially problematic history–is something I couldn’t really ignore.
And so, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far. You’ve all truly made a difference in my life and given me the opportunity to help others which I could not be more grateful for. And the fact that November is looking to soon be my most successful month in the entirety of my time having this blog is kind of cool.
I deeply appreciate all the time you guys have given me and, as I truly want to give back as much as I can, I’m going to attempt–time permitting since I’ve been very busy lately–to continue my review feature process that I began several weeks ago and feature a blog a day through the whole month because you all are truly amazing and this is really a great moment to show more thanks than usual (though certainly not the single only time to do so!).
Once again, thank you all so much for being part of this journey with me. And, as always, I wish you all happy readings!
