I’d never even heard of the Black Angel series before this book and, truthfully, I didn’t really care to have this one on my TBR. You Won’t See Me Coming by Kristen Orlando sounded like a need to know, need to see type of book and since I hadn’t seen or known anything about it, I just didn’t care. Assassins? What seems to be a piss poor witness protection program thing going on? Nah, I was good. But, as always when it comes to a book that’s a sequel (or in this case a third book in a series–and the finale!) I usually go to check out the first book before I make my decision on whether or not to add a recently published sequel and the first book in this series actually sounds quite interesting.
So, ultimately, while I don’t know how I feel about this book in particular, it may end up on my TBR in the future depending on how much I end up liking or not liking the first book. And, to tell the truth, I think it has more to do with a guilty pleasure read than anything else, so there’s still a strong likelihood that I wont end up reading this one.
What are your thoughts on Orlando’s final book her Black Angel series? Do you like the first books? Is this one you think I should change my mind about and add to my TBR immediately? Do you agree with my choice? Let me know in the comments!
