what if it's usToday I’m going to be featuring my favorite kind of blog, the sort that features primarily YA novels! Stephanie @ Holed up in a Book has an incredibly beautiful blog and she also spends some of her time dedicated to a booktube which is why she has two twitter links off to the side, one for her blog and the other for her booktube! I have to admit that I envy the ability to keep both of those platforms up and running because I know what a challenge just have a blog can be without the added job of recording and then editing videos. And while her blog may be titled Holed up in a Book, her booktube is called Shut Up & Read. I dunno if that’s a reference to Lily’s cable show from The Princess Diaries, but it’s still pretty cool.

I keep meaning to read What if It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera, but I can never seem to get around to it. And I’m glad to have an opportunity to feature a review for this book since I’ve been so lacking in my own ability to get this book read and reviewed. I heard a lot about it for a time and it’s nice to see Stephanie’s take on the book, especially since it got so many raving reviews for a while. For Stephanie parts of the book were good while others felt a little lacking. And you all have to click on her review to find out which ones those were.

“…I really enjoyed – having it set in NYC and being able to relate with some of the situations, the romance and the overall fluffiness of the book…”

Please take some time out of your day to check out Stephanie’s blog and show her some much deserved support for all that she does. Maybe even give her blog or her booktube a follow!
