Every once in a while there’s a book that I’m super excited about and resultingly take a moment to interject on my blog to celebrate it. This most recent one is a book that I let you all know about several weeks ago–The Testaments by Margaret Atwood–when I first found out about it. The sort of sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale that finally answers some of the questions we’ve always had about Offred and what happens to her, at the time, did not have a cover.
Well, guess what everyone! This picture you see here is the official cover for Atwood’s new novel and it looks fantastic! Minus the entertainment weekly logo–I couldn’t find a better image unfortunately–this is the cover we’re all going to have when we finally get our hands on a physical copy of the book. I’m not sure what the thought process is behind the green, but it’s my favorite color so I’m going to roll with it.
What do you think of this cover? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Let me know in the comments!
