Another day, another reading challenge. Check out 24in48, a reading challenge dedicated simply to reading for a full 24 hours during the 48 hours of Saturday January 27 to the end of Sunday January 28! Rules are pretty simple, but you gotta sign up to have a chance at winning some prizes, so definitely go have a look if you’re interested.
I got a bit of a late start with this one since I only just found out about the challenge about thirty minutes after it began, but I’m super excited about this one. It’s funny because every time I join a challenge I tell myself it will be the last one I join for the year simply on account of the fact that this is my first year ever participating in reading challenges. But then another challenge (hello 24in48!) comes along and is just too enticing to pass up.
And thus begins my adventure into reading for 24 hours.
I’ve chosen 2-3 books to start with and I feel like these will probably hold me over for the entirety of the challenge. The first two are actual copies of a book that I will be focusing my attention on reading (mainly due to the fact that I am already in the middle of reading them). The first is The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski, a reread that I absolutely adore. The second is a book called L.I.F.E in the 23rd Century by Jason R. Richter which I’ve received a free copy of in exchange for an honest review that is actually proving to be pretty fantastic thus far. Of course, you’re probably wondering what the third book is (maybe?). I’ve chosen an audiobook to work with whenever life requires me to do something important (i.e. cleaning, cooking, traveling, etc.) and for that I’ll be reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.
Comment below with what books you’re reading for this challenge if you’re participating! I’d love to hear about it. 😀
