I got approved for both of these, but I just hadn’t gotten around to posting about requesting them until now. I’m really excited that I get a chance to read both of these, honestly. They are both amazing opportunities for growth and learning. For one, I don’t want to be that idiot who constantly spouts off incorrect factual information. For another, I see it as immensely important that I, as someone who is heterosexual, am not ignorant about the LGBTQ community.
I mean, it’s kind of like the cover says, a father writing to his son about life as someone in the LGBTQ community.
Do either of these NetGalley books tempt you to request? Let me know in the comments!
