Honestly, I’m incredibly interested in the second book on this list. As someone who struggles with depression daily and also can’t determine whether or not to get medication treatment for it, this is a book I want to read thoroughly. And, granted, I probably should have gone and searched for something like this a long time ago, but when it popped up in front of me, I knew I needed to read it.

  2. I’m not much into memoirs and stuff like that, but the second one would interest me also. It’s been around two years now since i’m medicated, ithink? And it does work pretty well currently! But man that was a ride to get to the right mix (as, mind you, my female hormones had to be thrown in the mix! The time of the month for me was the worst mental health wise..)

    1. That’s fair. I can definitely see why they might not be super interesting.

      I’m glad to hear your medication is working for you! I definitely get where it can be a ride. Especially during the time of the month. I’m pretty sure my birth control contributes somewhat heavily to my depression as well, which is unfortunate but it is what it is I suppose.

      1. Aww- that’s actually super common for us :/ sadly.. damn hormones.

        My birth control actually helps me regulate my depression and anxiety along with my anti-depressants. It was just the journey of finding which one actually helped… I actually don’t ovulate/have any time of the month on this particular pill now, so no random peak of hormones; thus helping my brain in being constant.
        maybe you can talk to your doctor and see if they can do something about that? Depending onto how deep said depression is (and if you can cope with that easily or not)

      2. Yeah, I’m trying to. Unfortunately, with the system the way it is I have to wait until September to see them about it. I’m on a standby just in case something opens up earlier, but yeah.

        I’m glad yours works to help you regulate it, though. I imagine that’s a big help.

YIKES. yeah .. i’m kind of in the same boat – though my general doctor can technically see me “any time”, he only works on wednesdays. so when he do work, it’s crowded with people who basically gang up to talk to him xD and he bash about being late because people take more than the 5min max appointment time but well.. you only do ONE DAY A WEEK! what do you think people are gonna do ?

        I hope they’ll have an opening for you sooner xx
