Okay, this is the part where you all get to yell at me. I’ve seen Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan around for literally months now and barely given it a thought. Everyone was so excited and I was just all shruggy meh about it. And after reading that synopsis I am furious with myself. Oh my skies, this book sounds so friggin’ good! I cannot right now. And do you all want to know what’s even worse about this? I own a signed copy of the book! Now, mind you, I didn’t go out and buy it because I’d heard all the hype and decided I needed to read it. I got it in my book box subscription and promptly set it on the shelf cause I already had a crazy amount of books to read.
I regret, I regret, I regret.
Seriously, somebody yell at me because I so very much deserve it right now.
A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself.
A prince in danger must decide who to trust.
A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.
Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.
In a centuries-long war where beauty and brutality meet, their three paths entwine in a shadowy world of spilled blood and mysterious saints, where a forbidden romance threatens to tip the scales between dark and light. Wicked Saints is the thrilling start to Emily A. Duncan’s devastatingly Gothic Something Dark and Holy trilogy.
